Pulkita Jain is a research scholar in Health Economics at IIT Bombay Monash Research Academy, conducting her research under the guidance of Prof. Ashish Singh (IIT Bombay) and Prof. Dharmalingam Arunachalam (Monash University). She completed her Integrated M.Sc. in Economics from Central University of Rajasthan in 2019, where she worked on Stock market returns as part of her thesis. Before starting her Ph.D journey, she worked as an Academic Associate in Economics Area at IIM, Ahmedabad, where she developed her interest in Health economics while assisting professors in their research and courses. She has gained experience in the teaching while working as an assistant professor in economics department at JECRC University, Jaipur. With the keen interest in understanding the development economics she has worked in Budget Analysis Rajasthan Centre developing content for rural people about schemes and grants provided by the government. Her current project focuses on Examining disparity in health outcomes within the socioeconomically weaker sections in India. Research will specifically examine health outcomes related to full Immunization and & minimum nutrition.
