Sustainable Societies and Management

The confluence of arts, anthropology, creativity, design, environment, policy and technology, is driving innovation in directions previously unimagined. India is in the process of designing and erecting, from the ground up, close to 100 ‘Smart Cities’ where these elements need to be incorporated - through reworking existing ideas to inventing ground-breaking concepts. The Academy sees itself as an integral partner to these evolving themes and works closely with government, industry and civil society in generating fundamental as well as interdisciplinary research that drives this bold agenda.
