Brijesh was born in Haryana, India, and is currently pursuing his PhD at the IITB-Monash Research Academy. He works under the esteemed guidance of Prof. Amartya Mukhopadhyay (IITB), Prof. Mainak Majumder (Monash), and Dr. Parama Chakraborty Banerjee (Monash). His research is focused on investigating electrode materials for sodium-ion batteries, aiming to advance sustainable energy storage solutions. Brijesh holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in Chemistry from the University of Delhi. His master's thesis involved work on the origin, detection, and removal of microplastics from water, reflecting his commitment to addressing critical environmental challenges. Beyond his academic and research pursuits, Brijesh enjoys a well-rounded personal life. He is an avid hiker, often seeking adventure and tranquility in the great outdoors. Additionally, he is a passionate sports fan, with a particular love for cricket and kabaddi.
