Anamica Sharma

Anamica Sharma has joined the IITB-Monash Research Academy in the Autumn intake of the year 2021-2022. She has done Bachelor of Elementary Education from the Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi. She has also done Master of Education (M.Ed.) from the Department of Education and Master of Arts in Philosophy (M.A. Philosophy) from the Department of Philosophy, University of Delhi. Having background in both Philosophy and Education, Anamica is working in the area of Philosophy of Education through IITB-Monash project titled 'Affective Approaches to Justice as a Way of Life' under the supervision of Prof. Siby K. George and Dr. Michael Vincent Ure. She has cleared NET-JRF in Education twice and worked as Project Fellow with National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). She has many journal articles and book chapters to her credit and has presented papers in various national and international conferences and seminars. Apart from academia, Anamica loves to travel and is a true-blue orophile. She loves listening old Hindi songs, with Shamshad Begum and Mohd. Rafi being her favourite singers. She is an ultimate foodie and cook who believes in the epicurean motto of 'eat, drink and be merry'. Anamica has deep interest in politics and can debate on various political issues for hours. Being an avid cricket fan, she watches even test matches ball-by-ball. She believes that being punctual and organized are her biggest strengths that would help her in becoming a good researcher.
