Silpa completed her B.Sc. (H) degree in Physics from St.Stephen’s College , Delhi University. She obtained her masters degree in Physics from National Institute of Technology,Rourkela.Her masters degree thesis was based on ‘A Dynamic Light Scattering study on the Effect of Cross Linker Concentration on Dynamics of Acrylamide-Sodium Acrylate Hydrogels’.Apart from this, Silpa has been selected as summer intern at Inter University Accelerator Centre,Delhi and Indian Institute of Technology ,Hyderabad. She has also cleared JAM 2017 and GATE 2019 .Currently , she is pursuing PhD at IITB-Monash Research Academy on the topic “Modelling the subdiffusive motion of bacteriophages within mucus” under the guidance of Prof.P Sunthar (IITB),Prof. Jeremy J.Barr(Monash) and Prof.Ravi Prakash Jagadeeshan (Monash). Silpa is also passionate about dancing and travelling.
