Short Bio and Project Details:

I am a Ph.D. student at the prestigious IITB-Monash Research Academy, having joined in the January 2024 intake. My research, supervised by Professor Gurminder Singh from IIT Bombay and Professor Yunlong Tang from Monash University, is focused on the innovative field of Additive Manufacturing. Specifically, my project centres on the Multi-material 3D Printing of biodegradable Smart materials, a cutting-edge area with significant potential for technological advancement and environmental sustainability. My passion for additive manufacturing drives my commitment to advancing this technology. I firmly believe in integrating the foundational principles of mechanical engineering with emerging technologies, which is why I have dedicated my research efforts to this field. Through my work, I aspire to make meaningful contributions that will push the boundaries of what is possible in additive manufacturing.

I hail from the picturesque town of Nainital in Uttarakhand. I completed my undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the THDC Institute of Hydropower Engineering and Technology in Tehri, Uttarakhand. Following this, I pursued a postgraduate degree in Materials Science and Technology from the National Institute of Technology, Calicut, in Kerala. These academic experiences have equipped me with a solid foundation and diverse perspectives, which I continually apply to my research endeavours.
