I am an integrated B.Tech.-M.Tech. (Major: Nanotechnology, Minor: Information and Communication Technology) graduate from the Centre for Converging Technologies, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. During my master’s program, I had the privilege of working on a project involving the development of lab-on-chip electrochemical sensors for the detection of organophosphate pesticides at the Materials Research Centre (MRC), Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur. It encompassed the synthesis of electrode materials and the subsequent fabrication of electrochemical sensors for the analysis of pollutants.

In my quest to enhance my understanding of the behaviour of materials and compounds under specific conditions, I undertook a project primarily in theoretical and computational chemistry at the Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ), Ajmer. I possess a deep appreciation for the versatility of electrochemical processes and their manifold applications. However, I also acknowledge that there is significant progress to be made in terms of demonstrating their real-world feasibility.

Presently, I am pursuing my Ph.D. at the IITB-Monash Research Academy, which involves performing high-resolution electrochemical imaging on nanostructured electrocatalysts, under the guidance of Prof. Arindam Sarkar and Dr. Cameron Bentley. The goal of this research is to further advance our fundamental understanding of electrocatalytic materials.
