Student Details

Uttam has completed his B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering in 2018 and M. Tech. in Renewable Energy Science and Technology in 2020. He was working as Junior Research Fellow on a MHRD STARs project at IIT BHU with Prof. Santanu Das. Currently, He is Pursuing PhD at IITB Monash Research Academy under joint supervision of Prof. Murali Sastry (Monash), Prof. Akshat Tanksale (Monash), Prof. Jayesh Bellare (IITB) and Prof. Arindam Sarkar (IITB). His area of research is morphology-controlled hybrid metallic plasmonic catalysts for CO₂RR. Working across multiple disciplines, he has gained experiences in synthesis and characterization of plasmonic and 2D materials, thin film devices, organic solar cells and green H₂ generation.
