Student Details

Mr. Gaurav Vilas Kapse is undergoing his Ph.D. studies on Drinking Water Quality under the joint supervision of Prof. Murali Sastry (Material Science & Engineering, Monash University) and Prof. Pankaj Sekhsaria (CTARA, IIT Bombay). He has completed his B. Tech in Civil Engineering (Mumbai University) and M. Tech in Environmental Science & Engineering (IIT-ISM Dhanbad). Prior to joining his Ph.D. studies, he was working in the field of Environment Auditing and NABL Laboratory Quality Management System. Mr. Kapse holds 2 journal publications and 1 granted patent. His research focuses on water and wastewater quality, standards, and the use of natural materials for water/ wastewater treatment.
