Student Details

Aaqib Manzoor belongs from Tral town of Jammu and Kashmir. He has graduated from University of Kashmir in Electrical Engineering and qualified GATE 2019. He has completed his master’s from NIT Srinagar in Electrical Power and Energy Systems in 2021. During his master's, he worked under the supervision of Prof. Mairaj Ud Din Mufti and his thesis was related to Improving Power System Stability by using Energy Storage Systems. He has proficient skills in Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS languages and is acquainted with various software platforms like MATLAB, LabVIEW, PowerFactory. At IITB Monash Academy he is working as a Ph.D student on the project titled 'Control and operation of Converter-only Renewable Energy Integrated Grid Using Artificial Intelligence Techniques' under the supervision of Prof. Zakir Hussain Rather and Prof. Suryanarayana Doolla from IIT Bombay and Prof. Ariel Liebman from Monash University.
