Student Details

Kusumika has done her B.Tech from Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata and her M.Tech in Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. She had worked on the physicochemical parameter and reactor type optimization for production of exopolysaccharide from cyanobacteria as a part of her Master’s Thesis. In IITB Monash Academy she will be working on the project “Bioactives and natural dyes from food and agricultural waste sources” under the supervision of Professor Amit Arora (IIT Bombay) and Professor Antonio Patti and Professor Kellie Tuck (Monash University). Apart from academics her hobbies include acting in stage theatre and elocution.
