Project title - Advancing Plasmonic Catalysis for Sustainable Energy Conversion

My research focuses on plasmonic catalysis, an emerging field that leverages light-driven nanostructures to enhance chemical reactions by generating hot carriers and localized heating effects, providing a potential breakthrough in green chemistry, fuel production, and environmental applications. I investigate the fabrication and evolution of plasmonic nanostructures through thin-film processing and thermal treatments, with the goal of understanding how nanoscale morphology, hotspot formation, and light–matter interactions influence catalytic performance. My work bridges nanophotonics, electrochemistry and material science to advance sustainable energy technologies.

I hold a Master’s in Physics, with prior research on nanomaterial based supercapacitors and hands-on experience in material synthesis, electrode fabrication and advanced spectroscopy. This experience developed my interest in energy materials and motivated my current research in plasmonic catalysis.

Beyond research I enjoy cinema, music and discussions on politics, history and art. Feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn if you share similar interests or would like to discuss research and ideas.
