Lovish Raheja is a doctoral student at IITB-Monash Research Academy, researching Circular Economy for Food Supply Chains under Prof. Pankaj Dutta (IIT Bombay) and Dr. Ananya Bhattacharya (Monash University). His research aims to understand critical challenges and barriers and to identify major opportunities and drivers for achieving a circular food economy, focusing on devising fundamentally novel management approaches using conceptual and empirical investigations of varied nature. He is a Gold Medalist in his M.Sc. (Environmental Studies and Resource Management) from TERI School of Advanced Studies, where he worked on diverse sustainability projects, including air and water pollution risk assessments, local terrestrial stilling, sustainable construction and environmental education. He also holds an integrated B.Ed. degree with fourfold majors in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Education. Outside academics, Lovish volunteers for the International Younger Chemists Network (IUPAC), UNEP-MGCY, and Team Zero Waste IIT Bombay. He also loves playing cricket and has played professionally in the past.
