Student Details

Ashish hails from the temple city of Bhubaneswar (The capital of Odisha). He has completed his Master's degree from Veer Surendra Sai University, Burla, and his Bachelor's from Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar. His broad research areas include Continuum Mechanics, Mechanics of Deformable Bodies,Finite Element Analysis & Polymers. He is currently doing his PhD under the aegis of IITB-Monash Research Academy, in a project titled " Modelling elastomers' Thermo-mechanooxidative ageing by means of coupled chemo-thermo-mechanical constitutive equations ". The project is sponsored by Michelin tyres . He is working under the supervision of Prof Alankar Alankar (Mechanical Engg,IITB), Prof Krishnendu Haldar (Aerospace Engg, IITB), Prof Nikhil Medhekar (Material Science and Engg,Monash University), and Dr. Junichi Nakanishi (Michelin Tyres). He is a perseverant individual who still buys into that 'The harder I work, the luckier I get’ philosophy. He is fascinated by technology, an avid reader of voluminous novels, a fervent gamer & an ardent sports enthusiast.
