Sarika Joshi majored in physics, chemistry and maths for BSc at Govindram Seksaria Science College, Belgaum. Subsequently she studied MSc in Nanoscience and technology at Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. She has worked on Purification and applications of Single-walled carbon nanotubes. A part of this work is published as "An Efficient Method to Completely Remove Catalyst Particles from HiPCO Single Walled Carbon Nanotubes" Her master's thesis was titled, “Fabrication and comparison of MWCNT and Graphene-based composite membranes in terms of water purification efficiency". She has received first prize at poster presentation in ThinkNano-2017 conference held at Centre for Nanoscience and Engineering, IIsc Bangalore. She enjoys dramatics and reading and fervently develops playlists for all moods. She is passionate about science communication and believes in converging her love of expression and science through it.
