Short Bio:
Following a Master's in Business Administration with a specialization in Oil and Gas Management, I have over two years of professional experience as a business strategy consultant in the energy sector. In January 2025, I transitioned from the corporate world back into academia, joining the IITB-Monash Research Academy as a full-time research scholar. This shift allows me to bring practical industry insights into academic research, especially within the domain of energy systems and infrastructure.
My current project focuses on analysing energy transition pathways in India's transportation sector using a bottom-up modelling approach. The research aims to explore feasible decarbonisation scenarios, assess the techno-economic impacts of emerging technologies in transport, and support long-term policy planning for a low-carbon transport future.
Outside of work, I enjoy going on long walks, reading fiction and non-fiction, and listening to true crime podcasts. I also have an interest in cooking and exploring new music, which help me unwind and recharge.
