Student Details

Anup Sharma completed his M.Tech in Materials, Manufacturing and Modelling from IIT Bombay in 2019. Prior to that he has worked as a Senior Engineer in Larsen and Toubro, Defense Manufacturing division for around 2.5 years from 2014 to 2016. His research during his masters revolved around laser material processing and surface texturing under the guidance of Prof Suhas Joshi in Department of Mechanical Engineering. Anup’s PhD work involves working with Atomic probe tomography, specifically aiming at developing models for use in laser-assisted APT and validate them using experiments. Prof Deepak Marla (IITB Mechanical Engineering) and Prof Jing Fu (Monash University: Mechanical, Aerospace and Mechatronics Engineering) are his supervisors.
