Student Details

Sanket completed his B.E. in mechanical engineering from Goa University in 2009, after which he worked for a year as an asst. Prof. (contract) at Padre Conceição College of Engineering Goa, and for three years in Bosch Ltd. as a Sr. Engineer (mechanical design). He then joined Industrial Design Centre (IDC), IIT Bombay for his M.Des in Industrial design (2014-16), where he designed a 'surgeon friendly laparoscopic device for electrosurgery procedures' as his final thesis. For the Past two years he worked as a Project Research Associate at IDC, IIT Bombay in D'Source project. Currently he is pursuing his PhD at IITB-Monash Academy in a project titled 'Design interventions in farm equipment for Indian small farmers', under the guidance of Dr. Selby Coxon (Monash Unversity), Dr. Robbie Napper (Monash Unversity), Prof. B. K. Chakravarthy (IIT Bombay) and Prof. Sugandh Malhotra (IIT Bombay).
