Shubhada did her MTech from CTARA IIT Bombay, after which she worked for few years on World Bank funded Project on Climate Resilient Agriculture (PoCRA) being implemented by Government of Maharashtra, in Research Consultant capacity in collaboration with IIT Bombay. She was involved in development of GIS based water budgeting solutions for village level water management and planning. Her IITB Monash PhD topic is "Optimization of groundwater planning and management under predictive uncertainties using computationally efficient data assimilation"
