Lekshmi Eswaramoorthy pursued her Master’s in Optical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvanthapuram. She primarily focused on Temporal Coherence and Interferometric applications in surface profilometry. She has completed her bachelor’s in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, and graduated as the best outgoing student of the Institute. During her bachelor’s, she developed a cluster based VANET protocol for plausibility checks. Here at the Academy, she is working on chip-based nano-optical sources using 2D materials (IMURA0800), with Prof. Anshuman Kumar (IITB) and Prof. Qiaolong Bao (Monash University). She dreams to travel around the world seeking vivid experiences.
