Subhadip Bhattacharya holds a B.Tech degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) from the West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT), Kolkata in 2015. He is also the recipient of the University Gold Medal for securing the highest CGPA in EEE department among all the affiliated colleges under WBUT. During B.Tech 2011-15, he had undertaken internships at various state and central government-owned organizations like West Bengal State Electricity and Transmission Company Limited (WBSETCL) and Indian Railways. In spite of being hired by several reputed MNCs, his intense strive to acquire knowledge led him to pursue M.Tech in Power & Control Systems from the National Institute Institute of Technology Manipur in 2017. He obtained 98.50 percentile in GATE-2016 (EE). He secured the highest overall CPI among all disciplines at NITM during this tenure. Consequently, he joined Jadavpur University, Kolkata as a Junior Research Fellow in the Department of Electrical Engineering and worked on DST-SERB funded project related to condition monitoring of high voltage equipment. With a zeal to contribute towards nation building and secure a sustainable future he joined IITB-Monash Research Academy to work on the project titled "Modelling Energy Transitions in India and Australia" under Prof. Rangan Banerjee (IITB), Prof. Ariel Liebman (Monash University) and Prof. Roger Dargaville (Monash University). Tunes of Tagore and the cinematic artistry of Satyajit Ray enchants him. He draws inspiration from the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna and the preaching of Swami Vivekananda. He is not only a fervent quizzer but also holds a distinction in Fine Arts and loves painting during leisure. Project Title - Modelling Energy Transitions in India and Australia
