The IITB-Monash Research Academy is an exciting partnership between two world-class research institutions and offers outstanding students the opportunity to conduct high impact, outcome driven research. The Research Academy provides a unique opportunity to engage with industry and government partners to address global research problems through a doctoral research thesis.
Graduates will receive a world-class internationally recognized joint PhD qualification from Monash University Australia and the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB).
As a PhD student at the Research Academy you will be based at IIT Bombay in Mumbai, India and work with an elite team of academics and students. You will receive expert co-supervision from both IIT Bombay and Monash University, have access to generous scholarships and world-class facilities, and gain international research experience with a minimum of three months spent with your co-supervisor at Monash University in Australia.
