Due to rapidly growing populations and diminishing government resources, corporates and academia are now focusing on sustainable technologies and processes - this has led to the rise of the circular economy concept. The Academy focuses significant attention on technologies, processes and policies related to looking beyond the current industrial models to factor in broader societal and ecological benefits.
